I have ALS and this app will allow me to speak through my Android. It saves my phrases or words and I can load "banked" words/phrases. Not being able to speak is very lonely and I cant wait to use it!

I some what like this app but if you include some new voices such as man's and women's then everyone would buy it. I will spread the news if you improve this app. Also try to make voices realistic

I scanned the app with Sophos and it states it is a low quality app, as it needs full access to the system to supposedly send information, but it doesn't need this permission to do this as any information is able to be sent through browsers. Therefore I uninstalled it even though I have a couple deaf friends I wanted to possibly recommend it to. This should be fixed. By the way I copied this verbatim from Sophos. Response to your reply: It is impossible for us to know what is being sent without distinct permissions, and it is possible to use the browser in the background to send any information, using that distinct permission (not full system access). Full system access for these couple things is unnecessary and a security risk. I would use and recommend it if these issues were addressed.

App is good. But why it is costly 3k price for this app I think this is just of money. There are plenty of app on store to convert the text in speech You should be upgrade this app in different languages then I will be helpful And free the app for others.

Excellent app that has been very useful with young people who are non verbal. Used it with a young man who could sign and write but needed something to take out in the community. Gave him great independence and he could say full sentences rather than single words which gave his information extra meaning. The feature where it recognises where you are to predict the sentences is fantastic and invaluable. The voice has not been a problem at all. Think its more that we perceive it as a problem but the young people I worked with are happy to have a voice and didn't want to change it. Can easily load up new voices for a few pounds if it is a problem. Get it while its free but its also very reasonably priced. Really great to have an android system that makes it much more affordable. Thank you!

Please don't forget that this app is for those who has speech problems. It is not for everyone to use. Think it as a walking stick, you may not need it but this doesn't mean it is bad. This is a great app. more natural voices would be really nice, but understandable.

Maybe the people should read the description before complaining.. here is a summary "Articuloud is ideal for people who have [...] lost the ability to speak, due to a physical impairment"... So the stupid people who are complaining that it doesn't do much, should try to read a description first rather that stupidly commenting, giving one star without knowing what for the app they install on their phone is for.. some people can be so dumb...
